Nevada: NV Health Link's 2026 Open Enrollment Period happening now thru Jan. 15th

Nevadans can now enroll in health insurance for 2026: 140 Qualified Health Plans from eight insurance carriers and new Battle Born State Plans for Nevadans to choose from
CARSON CITY, Nev. (November 3, 2025) – On November 1, Nevada Health Link kicked off the Open Enrollment Period for Plan Year 2026 with 140 Qualified Health Plans through eight brand-name private insurance carriers, including the new state-approved Battle Born State Plans (BBSPs). Nevadans can view, compare and shop plans now through January 15, 2026 on NevadaHealthLink.com.
New this year, Nevada Health Link will offer Battle Born State Plans or BBSPs.
Like all plans on the Marketplace, BBSPs will cover all ten essential health benefits, including hospitalization, doctor visits, emergency care, lab work and prescription drugs. These plans are required to be offered statewide, while also meeting specific reduction targets to bring costs down. This is especially significant for Nevadans living in rural areas, who will have more options this year when selecting a plan.
Health insurance carriers include:
- SilverSummit Health Plan (Ambetter)
- Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Health Plan of Nevada (HPN)
- Hometown Health
- Imperial Health Plan
- Molina Healthcare
- Select Health
- CareSource
Battle Born State Plans will be offered through:
- Anthem (Community Care Health Plan of Nevada)
- SilverSummit Health Plan (Ambetter)
- Health Plan of Nevada (HPN)
13 Qualified Dental Plans will be offered through:
- Alpha Dental
- Best Life
- Delta Dental
- Rocky Mountain (Anthem)
All Nevadans, whether uninsured and looking for new health coverage or are already enrolled and planning to renew, should review their options during Open Enrollment, as it is the only time of year that Nevadans can openly enroll in a plan without experiencing a qualifying life event. Additionally, Nevada Health Link continues to be the only place Nevadans can access federal financial assistance to lower their monthly insurance premiums, providing peace of mind and financial security knowing there is coverage in case of an emergency.
Nevada Health Link is ideal for those who do not receive qualified health insurance through their employer and are not eligible for Medicare (ages 65+) or Medicaid (income-based).
Nevadans interested in enrolling with the free assistance of a Broker/Agent or Navigator/Assister are encouraged to visit NevadaHealthLink.com and use the “Find Local Assistance” tool to locate a certified enrollment professional who can provide assistance in person or virtually. These professionals can provide expert guidance throughout the enrollment process in multiple languages. Brokers/Agents can also be reached by calling 1-800-547-2927 and choosing the ‘Find a Broker’ option, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. during open enrollment (excluding holidays). Nevada Health Link also offers a user-friendly 'chat' feature on the enrollment website, connecting Nevadans directly to knowledgeable representatives from its call center.
Those who enroll between November 1 and December 31, 2025, by 11:59 p.m., will have coverage effective on January 1, 2026. For those who enroll between January 1 and January 15, coverage will begin February 1, 2026.
“As the 2026 Open Enrollment Period begins, Nevada Health Link is proud to continue connecting Nevadans with high-quality health insurance options,” said a Nevada Health Link official. “This is the time of year for individuals and families to review their coverage, compare plans and ensure the selected plan is the best suited for their lifestyle, budget and health needs. Whether you’re enrolling for the first time or returning to renew your plan, we continue to strive to make the process simple, transparent and accessible for every Nevadan.”
